Everyday
Mathematics
The Everyday Mathematics program,
developed by the
University
of
Chicago School Mathematics Project
, is a core curriculum that enriches the
mathematical experiences of teachers and
students. Everyday
Mathematics encourages teachers and
students to explore more of the spectrum of
mathematical ideas through a deeper
understanding of key mathematical concepts and
an in-depth study of all the strands of
mathematics. It integrates mathematics into
other subject areas so math becomes part of
ongoing classroom and external events.
