Brownies
Audubon’s Brownie Girl Scout Troop is one year old and currently has 19 girls enrolled, including 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd graders. These Brownies participate in service projects, make crafts and explore their surroundings through “try-its” patches that they display on their vests, all while having fun and making friends in other grades.

The troop meets every other Friday at school immediately after school lets out. They have worked with Lincoln Park Zoo to earn the Eco-Explorer Try-It Patch, have gone to Disney On Ice, and have plans to attend the circus. They are always looking for additional leaders to start troops for younger and older grades, including a Daisy Troop for kindergartners or a Junior Troop with the 4th, 5th, and 6th graders.
